“Telling You What You’ve Been Told” (Luke 24:36-49) When Jesus came out of the tomb on Easter morning, He entered a world that did not believe His story. Jesus’ first order of business during this Easter season is to restore the faith and hope of those who had every reason to believe that their hope had vanished. But Jesus refuses to allow this to happen, in a message from Luke’s Gospel, entitled, “Telling you what you’ve been told.”
