In today’s text, Paul pleads to the Lord for help. He has a “thorn in the flesh.” We don’t know what it was, but it appears to be painful. He calls it a messenger of satan who is pummeling him with one punch after the next. Like the others, Paul pleaded with the Lord to take away this affliction. Paul’s weakness wouldclearly show that the power of God is working through him. Listen as Pastor Don Hougard speaks on the theme “Power Made Perfect through
weakness.”
